Since the foundation of the Manufactory in 1826 many people would love to know the secret of the Herend porcelain-making. Today this dream became reality! It is a possibility to that the visitor can participate in a unique, special excursion in the buildings of the Porcelanium.

In the mini manufactory the first stop of the guided tour is the projecting room, where we can take a short travel with a 3D film in the world of Herend Porcelain. After the projecting the things, what we saw in the film, come to real. We can be spectators how became a heavy mass to light, fragile porcelain, how they format, make and paint the vilify material.

In the Museum the journey go through the Porcelanium square. The museum shows the history of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, the development of the applied science, partially with the help of the products, old documents, photos, certifications, plaques. We can see Hungary oldest, world famous porcelain factory’s products, grouped separately the most beautiful, successful patterns, and in the different ages the products, which were made by different creators.

The Mini Manufactory can be visited with Hungarian, English and German guidage. The length of the guidage with film projecting is around 40 minutes. We start tours every 20 minutes. We attach the single visitors to previously reserved groups. The last guidage is begin one hour before closing.

In the Museum we ensure for Hungarian, English and German guided tour in the case of pre-announced demand.

Price of Hungarian museum guided tour: 1 500 HUF/group

Price of English or German museum guided tour: 3 000 HUF/group

Pensioner (from 65 years): 400 HUF

Family (2 parents and their children): 1 200 HUF

Student (between 6 and 18 years): 200 HUF


Combined entry ticket (Mini manufactory visit with English or German guidage and Museum visit)

Student (between 6 and 18 years): 1 500 HUF

Family (2 parents and their children): 6 200 HUF


If you buy a combined entry ticket we give to the visitors a gift bon, which is the consumption for a coffee/tee/mineral water in the Apicius Café. The student entry ticket does not contain the consumption in the Café.

For children until they are 6-year-old and people who live with disability the entry ticket is free.

In the case of the minimum 20 person’s student group visit we give 10 per cent discount from the entry ticket’s price. The accompanying teachers can see the buildings with student tickets.

For travel agencies with framework contact, they send regularly groups, we give 10 per cent discount.

If you show a Hungary Card we give 10 per cent discount from the entry tickets’ prices.
