The charter bus can wait while the passengers are getting on and off (max. 5 minutes) at the bus stop at Vörösmarty square (painted yellow road markings, bus stop sign, GPS coordinates: latitude: 47° 5' 25.5" N/ longitude: 17° 54' 46.9" E).
The bus driver can park for free while the program period of the group at the parking area of the Veszprém Arena (Külső Kádártai street, GPS coordinates: latitude: 47° 06' 20.00" N/ longitude: 17° 55' 58.00" E). This is during the day only for limited time.*
*Please inform yourself before the arrival of the group about the current daily events of the Veszprém Arena (http://www.veszpremarena.hu/en/Events). We are asking the drivers kindly for leaving the parking area with their buses on event days two hours before the start of the program. Parking at night is not possible, and the buses won’t be left unattended while waiting.
The historic district is ten minutes away on foot from the Vörösmarty square. Go to NW direction towards the crossroads and right before that go across the left side of the road. Go round the corner building from the right and cross the road towards the Károly church. At the corner of the church cross the road, pass by the fast food restaurant to NW direction and go down the Brusznyai Árpád street till the Hangvilla building. ** Pass by this building towards the Mackó confectionary and cross the road towards the Szabadság square. Go across the square and then straight on the Rákóczi Ferenc street towards the Óváros square, from there towards the Tűztorony (Firewatch Tower) a straight road leads you up to the castle.

** The toilettes (barrier free too) can be found 3 minutes away on foot from the bus stop at Vörösmarty square in the Hangvilla building, only on the ground floor from 8 am. till 6 pm. (Brusznyai Árpád street, GPS coordinates: latitude: 47° 5' 32.3" N / longitude: 17° 54' 32.1" E). The costs are gross 200 Forint/group arrived by bus (10-50 person), about that they give bills at the reception. If you are planning to use the toilettes and asking for bills, please call this number: 06/88/889-180.
On certain days and private events the toilettes are closed, we ask you kindly to inform yourself about that by calling the same number.
There is another public and barrier free toilette, which costs 200 Forint, 15 minutes away from the bus stop at Vár street 2. (Hősök Kapuja).
There is another parking area for charter buses in the Cserhát street on the right side, if there are any free places.* At a charge of parking price the buses can park open-air, workdays from 7 am. til 5 pm. in the yellow zone.
* On Tuesdays and Fridays we are not recommending this parking area, because of the market nearby.

In Köd street (see on the picture below) there is a public toilette with limited opening time (01.06.-31.10. 9 am. -5 pm.) and size (only 1 for women, 1 for men and 1 barrier free). Costs: 100 Forint
