After a busy day of shopping, you can take a rest in the new park and of course there’s entertainment for the little ones as well: families can stop at the new playground. From the mall leads a handicap accessible underpass to the nearby market place. There’s a new Tourist Information Point in Kossuth Street. Not far from here, various events and conferences are held in the newly finished Hangvilla, a building formerly occupied by the Séd movie theatre.
The underpass in Budapest Street, named after the artist László Szilágyi, received public and cultural functions as of September, 2013. Szilágyi, who was a punk painter born in Veszprém, died young. One end of the underpass is occupied by the names of artists, who are listed in the Modern Art Gallery – Vass László Collection. (Modern Képtár – Vass László Gyűjtemény)
