The relics of Józef Bem are coming from Tarnów to Veszprém.
The relics will be the most exclusive pieces of the exhibition ‘The White Eagle flies again!’ – the struggles for independent Poland 1795-1918’.
The exhibition is connected to the Week of Hungarian-Polish friendship opens on March 19, 2018, Monday, at 17:00. Mayor Porga Gyula opens the exhibition.
After the First World War in 1918 Poland gained its freedom back after 123 years. To commemorate, the Laczkó Dezső Museum opens the exhibition.
The relics represent the events and people of the Polish independence. Coins, badges of the Polish legion, flags and other military accessories from the occupation can be visited, as well.
The texts of the tableau, and the visual elements of the exhibition presents the modern history of Poland.
The exhibition can be visited between March 19 and August 5.
